The third management committee meeting on the updates of the TRS project

On the afternoon of April 15, 2026, the TRS Management Committee Meeting was held at Room V312, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The meeting focused on the overall project progress, interim achievements of each research team, and the planning of subsequent work. In addition, key issues identified during the previous RGC On-site Review Visit were systematically reviewed and critically reflected upon.

The meeting commenced with a welcome address by Prof. You Dong, who also provided a brief overview of the overall project progress.

Subsequently, the participating research teams delivered progress presentations in two sessions. The first session included the teams of Prof. Siu-Kai Lai, Prof. Chih-Yung Wen, Prof. Meng-Qian Lu, Prof. Xiao-Wei Deng, and Prof. Si-Wei Liu. The second session featured the teams of Prof. You Dong, Prof. Qiu-Sheng Li, Prof. Yi-Qing Ni, and Prof. Qing Li. Each team reported on their recent research progress, key findings, and future work plans.

The meeting then proceeded to a discussion session, where task leaders and industry collaborators, including participants from NVIDIA, exchanged views on key challenges, research directions, and forthcoming arrangements.

In the concluding session, the meeting summarized the current status of the project, further clarified priorities for the next phase, and outlined key action items. Following the meeting, participants attended a group dinner at Ju Yin House, where discussions continued in an informal setting.

Overall, the meeting provided an effective platform for communication among research teams, facilitating enhanced internal coordination and contributing to the smooth advancement of subsequent project activities.
